Street Car

One image that folks think of when they think of New Orleans are the street cars running throughout the city. If you're staying at The Eliza Jane, you can catch the Canal street car right on the corner of Magazine and Canal. The St. Charles street car takes you uptown, where you'll see lots of oak trees and old mansions. Riding on a street car really captures the essence of New Orleans, so try to get that in at some point during your stay. ​

Bus

The buses in New Orleans can be a bit dicey. You want to be careful getting on buses when you don't know where they're going. New Orleans is an amazing city and obviously we love the party time, but you have to be aware of your surroundings and know where you're going before you venture out into random areas of town.
